Belgium effluent and transport trailer manufacturer, JOSKIN has reached an agreement with dealer owned cooperative Origin Agroup to take over all marketing, importing, and distribution of Joskin products effective from 1st January 2017.
JOSKIN has evolved from humble beginnings in 1968 by Mr. Victor Joskin located in the town of Soumagne, Belgium as an agricultural contractor Mr. Joskin quickly identified the need for better effluent management and transport systems so set about manufacturing slurry tankers and trailers for the agricultural market and quickly grew to what now is known as one of the world’s largest producers. The company now employs over 750 people over 5 manufacturing sites totaling 150,000 m2 producing over 2500 machines per year. But ultimately it’s the field performance experienced by Joskin equipment owners all around the world that have endorsed Joskin equipment, Company’s simply don’t grow like this unless they have a great product and service says David Donnelly Managing Director of ORIGIN AGROUP LIMITED.
JOSKIN’s growth can be largely attributed to product development large investments in technology and designing machines to ensure that the farmer and contractor receives the best build quality and reliability but more importantly JOSKIN’s philosophy is to be the best provider of after sales parts and service to its customers.
JOSKIN products are sold in over 60 countries with over 80,000 users supported by over 600 dealers worldwide. JOSKIN have recognized that ORIGIN AGROUP’s extensive dealer distribution network throughout New Zealand comprising of shareholder members who have jointly invested in ORIGIN AGROUP have a high reputation for such after sales service and believe that current and new JOSKIN customers will be well serviced says David Donnelly.
JOSKIN is privately owned by the JOSKIN family who are actively managing the company with very strong family values. Employees, dealers and customers are regarded as part of this extended family says David. In our experience, these family owed companies are much more caring about the farmer and contractor than larger publicly owned corporations, so ultimately the customer is listened to and is looked after better, JOSKIN’s values and ethos is the same as our cooperative structure and how we work with our customers to ensure they are being looked after says David.
We are very proud to be appointed the distributor of JOSKIN products for New Zealand which include Slurry Tankers, Effluent application tools, Transport Trailers, Muck Spreaders, Pasture toppers and grass harrows.
